Welcome to Saint Mary’s Catholic School Website

A very warm welcome to our school. At St Mary’s Catholic School, we place Christ at the centre of all that we are and all that we do. We aim to promote the fullness of Christian life through an education in which faith, culture and life arebrought into harmony, creating a community based on the Gospel values of love, care and respect.

This harmony within our Catholic school community forms the basis on which our children will develop the values, the motivation and moral conviction that will enable them to act wisely and make sound choices in life.

We aim to provide a comprehensive, coherent and high quality education for every child by offering a wide, varied, differentiated and relevant curriculum, as well as developing their appreciation and understanding of the Welsh cultural heritage, language, literature and history.

We teach the Catholic faith through the National Catholic Religious Programme, Come and See, and our faith permeates the whole curriculum and life of the school. We believe that education is a partnership between parents, the school, the parish and the wider community, and we seek always to establish an open working relationship for the good of all our children.
